Source. CRS R49353 and R46595

Method and data

Method. 118 days is the annual total across all CRs in a fiscal year (FY1998–FY2025) and is not comparable with one CR; the bars compare the current CR with the first CRs of a fiscal year, FY2015 through FY2025, computed from the R46595 appendix (average 67.7, plotted as 68). CRS’s own sentence puts the average at just over 68 days and the range at 52 to 77; those figures cover FY2015 through FY2023 and omit the 48 days of FY2024 and 81 of FY2025.
