Method and data
Method. Each row plots the exhaustion year in the 2026 Trustees Report and in CBO's projection, and the line spans the gap in years (CBO minus Trustees: 0, −1 and +7). Trustees years are those of the depletion quarters in the CSV (OASI Q4 2032, OASDI Q3 2034, HI Q2 2033); CBO's OASI and OASDI years are fiscal years and its HI year is labeled only "year" in the CSV.
